OSTEOPATHY

ABOUT US

About Us

Titirangi Osteopathic Clinic is an established practice, with three full time working osteopaths.  All three Osteopaths trained in London, UK and graduated in 2007. As a team we insist on providing a thorough, effective and quality service to our patients. Having been in the village for 15 years, we have a wonderful relationship with the local health practitioners, doctors, the pharmacy and the other local businesses.

What makes this clinic unique is the long standing friendship of 20 years between the three practitioners. Having studied together, the trust they have with each other's skills and the fun they all share together, creates a very happy environment for their patients as well as themselves.

The Team

Suzee Premji

Suzee graduated from The British College of Osteopathic Medicine, London in 2007. Born and raised in London, she then moved to New Zealand in 2008, having worked in clinics in Papakura, Hamilton and Titirangi. Suzee then became the owner of Titirangi Osteopathic Clinic in 2009.

Powerlifting, strength and conditioning training and nutrition are a huge part of Suzee's life. She has been competing in Powerlifting since 2011 and competes internationally at the highest level representing New Zealand which include three World Championships. She has since gained a qualification as a Pre and Post Natal coach as well as a post graduate certificate in Women's Health, as she has a huge interest in training women to become stronger, especially after giving birth and beyond. In March 2023, Suzee will be starting specialised strength training exercise classes for women in Titirangi.

In her free time, Suzee enjoys cooking, speaking and learning Spanish and being wrestled by her little boy.

Mihailo Darracott-Cankovic

After completing his osteopathic degree in London, Mihailo was drawn to delve deeper into the foundational principles and techniques of osteopathy. He therefore completed a diploma in Classical Osteopathy at the John Wernham Institute. He also has further training in cranial osteopathy, visceral osteopathy, and myofascial release.

Through his interest in Medical Anthropology and extensive travels around the globe, Mihailo has explored and experienced a wide range of healing approaches. His treatment style has evolved to incorporate and reflect what he has learnt from other modalities including thai massage, shiatsu and yoga.

He has worked at Titirangi Osteopathic Clinic since he moved to Aotearoa, in 2008. He lives with his wife and 2 kids in West Auckland. When he’s not at work he is often found at the beach or walking in the bush.

The Team
Zita Lusack

Zita graduated from the British College of Osteopathic medicine in 2007 and has been inspired ever since by the patients she meets every day. She enjoys trying to aid the body’s recovery in a holistic way guiding the patient to better health with structural osteopathic techniques.

Her original training as a gymnast in the early 90’s has given her a good grounding in body movement, posture and the stresses that come with training and exercise. She became British champion in 1994 and went on to compete in 4 world championships and 3 European championships for Great Britain. She won a commonwealth team gold medal, an all around bronze and a silver on the beam in the 1994 Victoria games. She subsequently used those gymnastic skills again to join Cirque du Soleil where she was part of the show, Alegria. Zita has spent a reasonable amount of time in the treatment room as a patient and understands the needs of patients with a wide range of injuries.

When not practicing osteopathy, Zita's main hobby is dance, particularly Cuban salsa of which she is part of a Rueda team here in Auckland.
